Grade Level: 4th Grade Rationale: The reason that I chose this book was because I thought that it would be a great book for the students to connect with, since the problems that Leigh deals with are problems that many children deal with today. I also thought that this book would be great for helping children to get excited about writing. Leigh is excited about writing and brings many elements alive in this book.
